The Mercedes-AMG GLA models have received the green light and they are now leaving the factory for the showrooms across the world. Customers can now start ordering the new Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 4MATIC and the new Mercedes-AMG GLA 4MATIC. Also the most potent variant of the latter one, the S model is now available.
The entry-level GLA 35 4MATIC starts at 54,204.50 euros. For the money, the future owner receives the entry-level AMG GLA rated at 306 horsepower. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G transmission transfers the output towards all four wheels. The car needs 5.1 seconds to run from a standstill to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.
Who wants a bit more can go for the GLA 45 4MATIC+, for a price of 62,772.50 euros. The money brings the future owner a car with the world’s most powerful 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine ever developed for series production in its mid-range output variant of 387 horsepower. It reaches a top speed electronically limited at 250 km/h.
How much does the top Mercedes-AMG GLA cost?
Who wants the most, has only one choice to make: the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ at 68.365.50 euros. The top-of-the-range model comes with 421 horsepower, providing the racetrack-typical experience behind the steering wheel due to the presence of the TRACK PACE feature. An 8-speed dual clutch transmission and an active all-wheel drive system channel the torque towards all four wheels. The most potent variant can hit a top speed of 270 km/h.
Six AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs are available onboard. The driver can select “Slippery”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport+”, “Individual” or “RACE”. the latter mode comes standard for the S variant. It is though included in the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package for the non-S.
