As yellow as can be, this sunflower Brabus G63 Widestar makes its way into exhibition floors to make people’s eyes as wide as its bodykit. So this is the Brabus G63 Widestar 700.
Sober as can be, the Brabus experts would usually choose some horror black or ghostly grey for their creations. And yet, every once in a while, they need some bright eye-damaging color. Yellow does the job!
Let’s start from the top! The hood top, actually. A solid black carbon fiber insert gives the engine room to breathe.
A black grille with a glossy bullbar, refreshed headlights with additional LED running lights round up the look from the front.
At the opposite end, the spare wheel lid has been replaced by a Brabus-made one. It is flanked by new taillights, there is a redesigned bumper under it and a rear fixed wing above it. A sports exhaust system together with the Brabus logo complete the image of those driving behind the yellow SUV.
The interior was also touched by the Brabus spell. Black leather and yellow contrasting stitching wrap the seats and the door panels. The SUV got new floor mats, the company’s logo every now and then and newly shaped pedals.
Brabus equals power boost by default, so the 5.5-liter V8 got some extra horsepower. From its standard 560 HP and 760 Nm of torque, it now churns out 690 HP and 960 Nm. Now, the 2.5-tonne yellow beast just needs 4 seconds to run the 0 – 100 km/h distance.
