Brabus offers an aerodynamic kit for the Mercedes EQS 53 4Matic that reduces Cx by 7.2%, giving a 7% longer range.

Brabus has been recognized for decades as an expert in modifying conventional engines: larger turbines, increased displacement, or altered engine control units. But in the new electric era, these options no longer exist. That’s why the Bottrop-based tuner has adopted a new strategy and is now focusing on improving aerodynamics, which is a crucial factor in increasing the range in electric cars and beyond.

Thus, the Brabus Mercedes EQS 53 4Matic+ features a new front spoiler that minimizes front axle lift, front side air intakes made of carbon fiber that ensures better-cooling airflow, air deflectors in front of the rear wheels, a new diffuser and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. Also, all exterior chrome parts have an elegant black finish.

To improve the aerodynamic coefficient, Brabus has fitted 22-inch Brabus Monoblock M Platinum Edition aerodynamic wheels, 9 inches wide at the front and 10.5 inches at the rear, on which 255/35 ZR22 front and 295/30 ZR22 rear tires have been fitted.

Thanks to the Brabus SportXtra module, the adaptive Ride Control+ suspension can be lowered by 15 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear, lowering the center of gravity without affecting ride comfort.

Inside, Brabus takes luxury to the highest level in the beautiful tradition of the German tuner. The interior is dressed in fine black eco-leather, perforated on the seats and with the Brabus logo on the backrest and headrests. Even the front, center, and rear pillars and sun visors are covered in Dinamica microfibre – a three-layer microfibre made from recycled polyester without organic solvents.

The powertrain is identical to the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic with AMG Dynamics Package. The two engines develop 761 ps (750 hp)and 1020 Nm (752.3 lb-ft), so the Brabus Mercedes EQS 53 4Matic+ accelerates from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 kph (155 mph).

Although the power is unchanged, the Brabus EQS 53 4Matic+ costs almost twice as much as the standard version. Thus, the Brabus Mercedes EQS 53 4Matic+ costs 299,468 euros ($322,667) compared to 155,010 euros ($167,018) for a standard Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ model.
