Leaked on the internet ahead of its official reveal, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class shows up yet again in a video released by the premium car maker. The luxury sedan is displayed right behind the company’s CEO Ola Kallenius during his visit to the plant in Sindelfingen.
The first photos of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, barely wearing any camo at all, sparkled intensive debate. The premium car maker ignores the photos already leaked and shows the flagship sedan in an official teasing video.
The Daimler CEO, Ola Kallenius, welcomes employees back to work after two months of lockdown, caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The model prototype stands right behind him.
“I can promise you: we’re not hitting the brakes when it comes to our future flagship models and EV plans. There will be new exciting high tech awaiting you in the upcoming months. Like this one!”, he exclaims indicating the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The sedan has its doors and wings, together with the front end camouflaged. But fans can observe the powerdomed bonnet and the narrow elongated headlights with a new light signature.
As previously seen in the photos leaked earlier this week, the rear end has also been redesigned. It seems to carry over the taillights design seen in the new A-Class sedan, CLA and CLS four-door coupes.
What will the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class look like?
The interior of the luxury sedan is inspired by that seen in the Vision EQS, following the minimalistic lines of the concept. Thus the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will feature a tablet-like touchscreen covering for the parts previously played by the physical buttons, but also a digital instrument cluster pushed forward to the also new steering wheel.
The 2021 S-Class should be revealed this upcoming summer and is expected to hit the showrooms in the fall of 2020. Further details regarding the engine range of the exclusive sedan are here:
