Is this the most luxurious convoy ever? It surely is the most mysterious! Four 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Classs facelift were spotted by the famous car spy Walko, while testing in a convoy. Lucky for the eyes of the curious, little hid the shapes of the high-end sedans.

Shortly after the Saudi website published the leaked photos of the limousine, a video of what seems to be the future S-Class surfaced online. The double LED light signature of the new headlights is visible for the first time, as the cars wait at a traffic light. They are thought to be the purported 560 models, a new addition to the S-Class range.

The facelifted S-Class will make its public debut at the Shanghai Motor Show next month and – just like the E-Class and furthermore – it will feature advanced autonomous capabilities. It will hit the showrooms in the third quarter of 2017.

A newly developed Active Distance function, providing autonomous acceleration and braking, a revised Distronic cruise control system with new graphics,, set to eventually be fitted in all the Mercedes future models,  the upgraded Comand Online 5.5 sat-nav and infotainment systems are the features that the S-Class facelift will proudly march with on the road, starting this autumn.

Further driver assistance systems will be transferred from the most intelligent business sedan, the E-Class, into the uber luxurious S: Active Lane Change Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist, Active Brake Assist and remote Parking Assist will all find room under the exquisite silhouette of the sedan.
