Get sporty! That seems to be the new motto in Affalterbach. Mercedes-AMG is trying to give standard vehicles the looks of the high-performance cars. And the program seems to operate perfectly. Now baby A-Class gets the AMG body kit it has been dreaming of.
The A 250 Sport 4Matic and the A-Class models equipped with the AMG Line can stand out in the crowd as never before. The exclusive body kit for the high-performance A-Class models include four attachment parts for the bodywork and sporty side stripes, that can be glued to the car as a foliation below the dropping line of the vehicle. These elements are produced through thermoforming technology and come in glossy black, with no need of a paint coating.
So what is it that the A-Class models can get?
- AMG Front splitter: € 470*
- AMG Side-sill extension (2 pcs): € 7901
- AMG Rear apron trim with Diffusor-look: € 470
- AMG Additional rear flics: € 185
- AMG Sports strip: € 20
(*All prices are German Recommended Retail Price incl. 19 % VAT)
The looks enhancement that the A-Class is getting is just episode 2 of a long series. Last year, the C-Class got a similar treatment. Starting next June, a similar body kit will be available for the C-Class Cabriolet, but also for the facelift version of the CLA sedan.
