Toto Wolff has just turned 50 and reportedly spent his birthday skiing in Switzerland. His wife, Susie, posted an impressive milestone birthday wish on Facebook, accompanied by photos of young Toto.

The Team Principal of Mercedes-AMG Petronas turned 50 years old. He spent 13 of them in Formula 1, as a shareholder and executive director in Williams and then, as a Team Principal of Mercedes. He also acquired 30% of the team in 2009 and his share increased to 33% in 2020, with INEOS and Daimler being equal partners.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas won the Constructors Championship title every year with Toto Wolff as an executive. 2021 was the first and only year so far that Mercedes failed to also achieve the Drivers Championship title. Lewis Hamilton finished second behind Max Verstappen in controversial finale.

The Mercedes executive reportedly spent his birthday at one of his homes in Switzerland with wife Susie and their son, Jack. The former racing driver and current CEO of Formula E team Venturi posted an impressive message on her official Facebook page. She accompanied her wish with a photo collage with six images, showing her husband at different ages.

Toto Wolff, not a fan of birthays

“Toto is not a fan of birthdays”, she writes. “Prefers to look forward and not back. says the long game counts and he is only half way (that is maybe a bit optimistic now). But today marks a milestone, 49+1. Happy Birthday, Toto. Thank you for all that you are and all that you do”, she adds.

The two have recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary. In October, they went to Venice, where Toto Wolff proposed. The two share a son, Jack, who will be turning 5 this April 10th.

Toto also has a daughter, Rosie (17), and a son, Benedict (19), from a previous marriage. They both live in Austria, while their father shares his life between England, Austria, Switzerland, and Monaco.
