The fastest man in the world driving a station wagon. Well, it is not just any station wagon. Lewis Hamilton shows how it’s don in the latest episode of David Letterman’s “My Guest Needs No Introduction” show on Netflix.

The Formula 1 driver drives the Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate, the fastest wagon at the famous Nurburgring. It is a preview of the show to be broadcast on the movie network. Lewis Hamilton drives the ultra-potent estate around the Silverstone racetrack, the home of his Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formual 1 Team.

David Letterman is the first to run the racetrack, with Lewis as a co-driver, and the video shows that he is not quite comfortable behind the steering wheel. “I’ve survived!”, he yells when he gets off the car.

But when they switch places, Letterman seems relaxed and he is cheering in the passenger’s seat, while pretending to give a helping hand to the 3-time World Champion, as he pushes the estate beyond its limits.

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate is the perfect combo between a family car and a racetrack beast. Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine, it gets the benefits of all the 612 PS and 850 Nm of torque, assisted by a high-performance 4-wheel drive system, the 4MATIC+. The car runs from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. Or… it depends on who’s driving!
