It is Monday morning, you have no idea when the alarm went off, you overslept, the kids are still sleeping and you have a meeting at 9. So how fast can you get your children to school? Do you have the right car for it? The video below is going to show you what you need to make it on time.

Top Gear has put the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio face to face in the battle of the family SUVs.

Powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8, coupled to an AMG Speedshift MCT 9-speed sports transmission, sporting 510 horsepower and 700 Newton meters of torque, the German SUV can run from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, while the Italian gets there in 4.1.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is set in motion by a 2.9-liter V6, coupled to an 8-speed transmission and featuring a torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system.

Their speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h. The AMG can hit 280 km/h when equipped with the AMG Driver’s Package.

On paper, it is obvious who the winner is. But will it be any different on the racetrack? There is just one way to find out.
