In an attempt to gain a step ahead of Daimler, ARES Atelier came up with this stretched limousine, called the Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL.

As we’re sure you want to find out more about this stretched S-Class, here’s how the story goes.

ARES Atelier refers to the S-Class XXL as “the epitome of representative automobiles”. In reality, all they did was stretch and reinforce a standard S-Class chassis before adding individual carbon fiber body parts (front bumper, rear bumper, rear diffuser, sideskirts, front grille) and 6mm thick tempered glass.

That’s not all, because the limousine also received an upgraded breaking system, which might come in handy since the engine can be upgraded to deliver more than 600 hp. This improvement will allow the S-Class XXL to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

The interior is also packed with good stuff from ARES Atelier. Or as they put it, “a treatment that delivers a bespoke look and feel beyond the original statemen’s standard”.

Anyway, clients get nocturnal blue ambient lighting on the ceiling, enforced individual climate control, cooling boxes and glasses storage plus a foldable 17-inch HD flat screen, an improved sound system and electric curtains. You know, for “the highest level of private luxury on the road”.

The “vis-a-vis first class rear seats” come with Nappa leather upholstery while the driver is set to enjoy a custom made sports steering wheel with “precious material inserts”.

And since we’re here, it’s worth mentioning that the genuine Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman is likely to be revealed in March, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
