There is always someone or something leading the way. When it comes to the off-road, it is the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4² that makes the rules off the asphalt. Mercedes-Benz is releasing a new video to prove their monster G is every bit royal. Even with sleeves pulled up its elbows.

Dirt, mud, rocks, steep inclines that might seem close to impossible to any other. You name it, the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4² can surpass them all. This king is not ashamed to get his royal hands – or be it, windshield – dirty for a little fun in the off-road, the territory where the extremes meet to create a playground.

So far, so good, but as you might have anticipated, all this royal behavior even in extreme situations comes for a price. Nothing is for free, not even when you step off the highway. For 226.100 euros, the driver will get to command an SUV with the portal axles, permanent all-wheel drive, an off-road reduction in the transfer case and three lockable differentials, together with 416 HP developed by its V8 included. A seven-speed 7G-tronic automatic gearbox partners up with the specially-developed 4×4 system, channeling the power permanently to all four wheels.

It looks royally military on the outside, but it’s plush and posh on the inside. The dashboard, the center console and armrests in the doors are covered with black designo leather with white contrasting topstitching, while the seats and door panels are covered with Dinamica microfiber.
