Just like many other models before it, this particular Mercedes-Benz S550 received a complete makeover which might raise a few eyebrows in terms of design.
When it comes to restyling a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the final result is a rather love it or hate it affair. Some say that modifying such a car is a blasphemy, while others argue that the German saloon needs a bit of salt and pepper from time to time.
Regardless of what others may think, Miami-based tuning company MC Customs teamed-up with Japanese tuner Wald International and delivered an aftermarket package for the Mercedes-Benz S550.
Besides a custom wide bodykit, the S550 received a bespoke front grille, larger air intakes as well as bigger side skirts, a reshaped rear bumper, brake calipers painted in red and a set of Savini rims matching the white-themed exterior.
Unfortunately, there are no technical upgrades so buyers will have to settle for the 4.7-liter bi-turbo V8 which develops in standard 449 hp and 699 Nm. But hey, there’s no love lost, because thanks to its seven-speed automatic transmission, the Mercedes S550 can still accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
