Exactly two weeks after the official release of the Mercedes-Benz SLC, the Stuttgart-made cabriolet gets the Night Package. The facelifted SLK receives the cosmetic changes for extra money, but full pricing information will not be made public until mid-January 2016.
The Night Package is available for the SLC 180, SLC 200, SLC 250d and SLC 300, but for the SLC 43 AMG as well.
The package fits the non-AMG models with a “diamond” radiator grille finished in chrome and high-gloss accents for the radiator louvre. The front splitter gets a similar treatment, while at the back, the SLCs get the black chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes. Also available for those who want to show off their convertible, are the 18-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels with a high-gloss lacquered black finish wrapped in 225/40 ZR18 front and 245/35 rear rubber.
For the performance-oriented 367 HP Mercedes-AMG SLC 43, the Night Package brings a high-gloss black finish for the front splitter and front apron fins. The side mirror caps get the exact same treatment. The AMG sports exhaust system includes black-chromed tailpipes, all to support the car’s sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
Full pricing data for the Mercedes SLC, formerly known as the SLK, will be announced in mid-January, when the order list for the sporty roadster will open.
