The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet is the sweetheart of the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of spring. The convertible will join the army of beauty and class comprised by the sedan, the estate, the coupe, the All-Terrain and the E 63 4MATIC+.
Mercedes-Benz will send the car into the world-wide-web just days before it will make its first public appearance in Geneva. The open-top four-seater is the latest member to join the model series, after the E-Class completely changed looks and concept exactly one year ago, by sending onto the road the most intelligent business sedan ever built. With looks to match its siblings and state-of-the-art technology inherited from them, the Cabriolet is set to boost the company’s sales this year.
The facelifted GLA will make its European debut in Geneva. The extremely luxurious Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet will also take center stage in Switzerland. The SL and the SLC, the company’s first ever pick-up, the X-Class, the smart fortwo cabrio BRABUS edition #2 and the forfour crosstown edition will be there as well. They will be kept company by the special edition models: the E 63 S Estate, AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50, C 63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition and C 43 Coupé Night Edition. A total of 34 vehicles will be displayed at the Mercedes-Benz stand in Geneva for the public to enjoy starting March 8th.
Guests at the Geneva Motor Show will have the chance to experience the “Silver Flow” atmosphere of the Mercedes-Benz stand in Hall 6. The company set up a dynamically shaped, free-floating, large-scale sculpture consisting of silver slats, above and around the show stand covering 3790 square meters. The “EQ Lane” flows through the entire stand in the form of a black shiny trail fitted with lights and media technology. The Concept EQ and the company’s already electrified vehicle range – the smart fortwo electric drive included – will be right there.
