Mercedes-AMG posted a few official photographs with the long-awaited and hotly anticipated 4-door sedan. We will see the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe in all its glory, on the 6th of March in Geneva.
Mercedes shows all, yet again, nothing at all. The company keeps publishing teasers of its future creation, but the car is heavily camouflaged, so its impossible to guess the fine details of its looks, except for the sleek silhouette, the oversized wheels, the quadruple exhaust system and the active tailwing, that will probably rise from the rear at high speed.
The front fascia features the already familiar AMG Panamericana radiator grille with vertical blades supporting the Mercedes three-pointed star and widely gaping air vents with active aerodynamic elements, similar to those seen in the Mercedes-AMG GT R. At the rear, the 4-door sedan sports narrow LEDs.
The car has been undergoing intensive tests (we have recently seen it in the wind tunnel) and the company shows photos of it in the street, on country roads and metropolitan areas, but also and on the racetrack, to make sure that it checks its versatility.
The 4-door sedan Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe, powered by the company’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, will go up against the 4-door Porsche Panamera, already a star in the segment.
