ROTWILD GT S mountain bike inspired by Mercedes-AMG GT

You might be wondering how a sports car like the AMG GT could inspire the design of a MOUNTAIN bike – and I can’t say I blame you.

But that means you’ve never heard a designer talk about his sources of inspiration: they range from cloud shapes to strange shades, from anime movies to childhood memories and from architecture pieces to what they dreamt last night. In other words, everything goes.

The ROTWILD GT S inspired by AMG combines the very best of racing technology on four and two wheels: dynamism, lightweight construction, design and comfort. It will be a special model limited to only 100 units but the bike’s credentials are already starting to shine, even though it has just come out of development stage – it won a world championship title for the juniors.

The mountain bike was developed for the toughest off-road conditions on the basis of professional feedback from the top athletes in the AMG ROTWILD MTB racing team. It isn’t the first product of this collaboration, R.X45 AMG carbon fibre full suspension mountain bike having launched back in 2013.

Peter Schlitt, Rotwild general manager, explains: “Just as AMG, we have paid very particular attention to the ride dynamics and fitted only the best technology for the ROTWILD GT S. As a result ride enjoyment lives up to expectations, even under the harshest of conditions.”
