The V8 is going out of the E-Class lineup with a bang. The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition is how it says goodbye. This is the last V8-powered E-Class.
After a leak on a German website, Mercedes-AMG pulls the curtain of the E 63 S 4MATIC+. It is a high-performance sedan with the company’s famous 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, all-wheel drive and Drift Mode. Just what you’d expect from a family car, right? The V8 brings along 612 PS (604 HP) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.
The Final Edition limited series brings special features. The car displays a body in matte graphite grey magno. The model comes with 20-inch AMG forged wheels in a cross-spoke design. There is the AMG emblem shining on the C-pillar and there is foiling on the sides of the car.
This version standardly gets the AMG Night Package. This one brings accents in high-gloss black, such as the front splitter of the AMG front apron, inserts of the side sill panel, trim elements in the front wings, windows surround and side mirror caps. The package also includes heat-insulating dark tinted glass at the rear. There are two trapezoidal black chrome tailpipes at the back of the car. Customers can also tick the boxes for the Carbon I and II packages for extra money.
The ambient lighting projects the AMG brand logo when the doors pop open.
Mercedes fitted the AMG Performance Seat Package onboard, with lateral support ideal for dynamic driving and heating. Nappa leather covers the seats in titanium grey pearl/black with yellow contrasting stitching. The driver will get their hands on the AMG Performance steering wheel in black nappaor microfiber DINAMICA, sporting a flattened bottom section.
Only 999 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition units will roll off the assembly line. So the V8 says goodbye in style, making its way to the collectors’ garages.
