There are good news surfacing from the world of Formula One. Nico Rosberg has just become a father. The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver has just welcomed his baby girl into the world.
“Our full moon baby girl was born yesterday afternoon. We are overwhelmed and totally in love”, stated Nico on his Twitter account.
The newly become father, who is still keeping the name of the baby a secret, had been making plans to welcome her ever since the Belgium Grand Prix. He was planning to leave the Spa-Francorchamps circuit as soon as possible to join wife Vivian in Monte Carlo.
“Everything was packed, the car engine was running in the garage”, he told reporters soon after the race that he finished second.
The Formula One runner-up will definitely not be taking his girls home in a Formula One racing car. “The baby seat is in the Mercedes ML and it took me more than two hours to put it in there. It was one of the toughest experiences!”, Nico revealed.
But unfortunately, Rosberg will not have much time to spend with his daughter. By Wednesday, he has to be in Monza, for the Italian Grand Prix,, set to take place on Sunday.
