Mercedes is set to launch the largest wave of new models in its history, introducing 36 new vehicles between 2025 and 2027, including 15 electric models.
Following the disappointing performance of the EQE and EQS, Mercedes is turning a new page with the upcoming CLA, which marks the start of a new era. The Mercedes CLA ushers in the brand’s most significant electric offensive ever. Alongside EVs, Mercedes will also introduce an impressive range of hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and mild-hybrid models.
Here’s the breakdown of new models by segment:
Entry-Level Segment
The new compact range, built on the multi-powertrain MMA platform, will feature just four models, down from seven previously. However, the current Mercedes A-Class will remain in production until 2028. Additionally, in 2026, Mercedes will launch a compact electric G-Class.

Core Segment
In the Core segment, two electric and two combustion models are planned for 2026, followed by two combustion and one electric model in 2027.
The highlight for 2026 is the new Mercedes GLE, which will also have a long-wheelbase version for the Chinese market. The GLE will feature an upgraded multimedia system, and the PHEV variants will offer longer electric range.
Also in 2026, the C-Class will receive a facelift, and its electric version will launch on the same platform as the GLC EV.
Another important debut is the Mercedes GLC EV, which will be unveiled at the Munich Motor Show in September 2025 and go on sale in 2026.
In 2027, the electric E-Class will replace the current EQE, but Mercedes CEO Ola Källenius has not commented on a possible electric GLE, suggesting the EQE SUV will remain in production for some time.

Top-End Segment
Following the debut of the Mercedes SL Pure Speed this year, nine new models will follow in 2026 (four of which are electric), and ten new models in 2027 (five electric).
The main highlight in 2026 will be the facelifted Mercedes S-Class, while facelifts for the AMG SL and AMG GT are scheduled for 2027.
