The Mercedes-Benz GLB has an inspiration to tuning houses, since June 2019, when it came into the world. And the one that works on the company’s models mostly, could not miss the chance. This is the GLB by Brabus and it looks as if it came straight from the dark side.
As cool as it may seem, there is always room for cooler. That is what the Brabus experts might have thought when they got their hands on the GLB, making it twice as cool and providing it with a somewhat scary intimidating look.
To enhance the dark side personality, now there are a two-piece front splitter and new air inlets, compatible with the AMG Line bumber. The three-pointed star logo vanished from the radiator grille. Instead the Brabus emblem showed up there. To go with these, there is a pair of LED light strips above the windshield.
At the opposite end of the car, a wing connected to the roof provides more downforce and a better air flow. New quad exhaust tips with a diameter of 3.5 inches shine bright at the rear of the compact SUV.
The Mercedes-Benz GLB by Brabus now runs on ten-spoke wheels between 18 and 20 inches, depending on the customers’ preferences.

The Brabus engineers could not leave the engine unattended. Therefore, the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four unit, connected to an eight-speed 8G-DCT automatic transmission, gets some extra force. A PowerXtra B25 performance module takes the output all the way to 267 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
In standard configuration, the GLB 250 4MATIC comes with 224 horsepower and 350 Nm. It standardly runs from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and stops at a top speed of 236 km/h. But considering the new figures, the compact rugged SUV should be even faster than that.
