Mercedes is showcasing numerous innovations at Eurosatory 2026, the world’s largest defense and security exhibition, taking place in Paris.
Eurosatory is one of the largest defense and security events in the world and is being held in Paris from June 15 to 19, 2026.
Anti-Drone System Consisting of a Mercedes Sprinter and G-Class
Mercedes is presenting a wide range of innovations, the most interesting being an anti-drone system consisting of a modified Mercedes Sprinter and a G-Class. For this project, Mercedes is cooperating with Tytan Technologies, a specialist in drones, sensors, and mission systems, as well as bodybuilder BINZ.
At Eurosatory 2026, Mercedes-Benz will present for the first time a vehicle combination consisting of a specially modified Sprinter and a G-Class, developed in collaboration with Munich-based deep-tech start-up Tytan Technologies and built by BINZ.
The Mercedes Sprinter serves as a mobile command center, equipped with two operator workstations, secure communication systems, airspace surveillance cameras, and launch modules for surveillance and interceptor drones.
The G-Class expands operational capabilities in challenging terrain with an extendable telescopic radar mast and additional drone launch modules.
Through this project, Mercedes-Benz demonstrates how civilian vehicle platforms can be transformed into highly advanced mission vehicles through specialized conversions and equipment.
Mercedes has already signed a letter of intent with Tytan Technologies for the development of anti-drone systems and defense solutions aimed at protecting borders and critical infrastructure.
