The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe gets upgraded. But it’s far from easy to spot them. So let us take you through the list of changes the facelift has brought.

The front fascia now follows the lines of the Mercedes-AMG T 63 S E Performance. It thus gets slightly wider air intakes, each integrating three vertical fins instead of the horizontal ones.

The performance carmaker gives customers a whole new customization options list. There are new Manufaktur colors in the range, such as the Arabian Grey, Cashmere White Magno and China Blue. four matte shades, five metallic and two solid ones are available. Future owners can also tick the box for the optional AMG Night Package II, that brings a combination between the Night Package and the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package.

The Manufaktur customization options include the Nappa leather and diamond quilting for the interior. A two-tone AMG Performance steering wheel and AMG high-pile floor mats with embroidered AMG lettering are also available.

The standard AMG Ride Control+ suspension system also went through changes. Two pressure limiting valves allow the adjustment of the damping force more precisely, depending on the selected drive mode and driving conditions. It’s all in the name of driving dynamics, as you’d expect from AMG. A suspension control unit analyzes data such as information from the acceleration and wheel path sensors. It thus adjusts the damping force for each of the four wheels in a matter of milliseconds. The push of a button in the dedicated menu sets the preferred suspension setting.

The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine is still the one that you know. It comes with 585 PS and 800 Nm of torque in the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+. And it brings 639 PS and 900 Nm to the S version. Those figures are enough for the former to run from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the latter gets there 0.2 seconds faster.

Those who will order a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ will have to pay €158,163. The top-of-the-range variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe starts at €175,180.
