The design of the six-cylinder versions remains unchanged. But the front can optionally adapt to the look of the eight-cylinder models. Three new colors are available: spectral blue metallic, spectral blue magno (matt finish) and cashmere white magno (matt finish). A total of five matt finishes, five metallic shades and two solid colors are now available. The new AMG Night Package II provides for an even more sportily accentuated appearance if so desired. The vertical slats in the AMG-specific radiator grille feature here a dark chrome finish.

Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé facelift with new AMG Ride Control suspension configuration

The AMG Ride Control suspension received a new configuration. It is based on a multi-chamber air suspension system, combined with adaptive, electronically controlled adjustable damping. The damping system use for the first time two pressure limiting valves. These variable control valves located outside the damper. They allow the damping forces to be adjusted even more precisely to different drive programs and driving conditions. One valve controls the rebound damping. Meanwhile, the other controls the compression damping when the wheel compresses.
at the same time, the spread between sportiness and comfort were significantly increased. In 2020, the suspension received new hardware components. The list included the new axle subframes, head bearings, outer thrust arm bushings and inner and outer tension strut bushings on the rear axle.

Another novelty is the AMG double-spoke steering wheel introduced last year at the E-Class facelift. Compared to the E-Class, the two control buttons have brighter displays. With their help, you can control drive programs and other driving functions without taking your hand off the steering wheel.
