It looks like Larte Design randomly selected a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and transformed it into a dark version of the Hulk. In reality, the GL received a special treatment called the Black Crystal package.

As you probably recall, Larte Design announced the launch of their tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz GL this summer. However, the Russian tuners say that the Mercedes-Benz GL Black Crystal will be on display at Germany’s Essen Motor Show.

Under the catchy and mysterious Black Crystal name, changes are highly visible and adopt a rather in-your-face style. For instance, clients who opt for this makeover will get an edgy aero kit which comes with new bumpers, a new front grille, Nolden LED daytime running lights and side skirts.

For those who own a GL 350 CDI, Larte Design offers an optional ECU tweak that will boost the V6 diesel’s power output from 258 hp to 290 hp.

Of course, the finishing touches are applied by adding a lot of carbon fiber inserts, a rear spoiler, 22-inch wheels and four tailpipes at the back. You know, just in case other cars forget who’s the boss. By the way, you do have to be the boss to get a Black Crystal package, as the price tag is $28.000.
