Just in case the normal SLK 55 AMG isn’t eye-catching enough, AMG Performance Studio came up with a one-off version of Mercedes-Benz’s stylish roadster.
To some, the image of a Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG might be old news by now, but the AMG Performance Studio thinks otherwise. That’s why they created an one of a kind version of the Mercedes-Benz roadster.
Since the Mecedes-Benz roadsters are all about the looks, this one-off SLK 55 AMG received a matte black exterior with two-tone alloy wheels and of course, a matching matte black exhaust system with four tailpipes.
However, AMG Performance studio focused quite heavily on the interior as well. The roadster received new seats borrowed from the SLS AMG and designo red pepper leather upholstery.
Beside that, the unique SLK 55 AMG offers a two-tone steering wheel, a fancy Nappa leather and Alcantara gear knob as well as carbon fiber trim for an even sportier interior.
No information is given regarding any technical upgrades, so it’s safe to say this version keeps using the naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine as the regular SLK 55 AMG. Still, 422 hp and 540 Nm are no small figures, and the roadster can still accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
