It has been a busy summer for the AMG performance brand. The engineers in Affalterbach have worked night and day to get two new cars on the road by the end of the drop-top season. And this is what they came up with!
Not long after the world premiere of the AMG GT R, the sports car and performance brand from Affalterbach is presenting two brand-new exhilarating roadster variants of the super sporty two-seater. Alongside the AMG GT Roadster, the AMG GT C Roadster expands the brand’s power portfolio.
The new video shows the cars running along winding roads, splitting the air in two with the Panamaericana grille, especially designed for driving performance.
It takes the V8 biturbo-powered Roadster just 4.0 seconds to hit the 100 km/h benchmark from a standstill. The Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster gets there even faster, thundering its way to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. That’s more than enough for the cars to make it to Paris, in time for the motor show that starts by the end of September. See it to believe it!
