Mercedes will present the dashboard of the future Mercedes CLA at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas from 9-12 January 2024.

Mercedes has announced that it will present the Mercedes CLA Concept at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, which features an interior close to the production car.

As seen in the first official photo, the new MBUX Superscreen stretches across the entire width of the dashboard. The screen is wide and narrow and, like the Hyperscreen in the EQE/EQS range, incorporates three separate displays that can be configured individually, grouped under the same pane of glass surrounded by a narrow aluminum frame. Two rings used for temperature regulation are located at both ends of the screen, while vents are hidden behind the displays.

Mercedes will also present the new MBUX Virtual Assistant at CES. Using high-resolution game-engine graphics from Unity, Mercedes is showcasing the new evolution of the Hey Mercedes voice assistant. Running on its own MB.OS operating system, the MBUX Virtual Assistant will offer several digital innovations based on artificial intelligence that will be presented in January at CES 2024.

The multimedia system uses the MB.OS 1.0 operating system with an Nvidia processor located in plain view in the front passenger area. The position of the visible processor has been changed from the concept shown at the Munich Mobility Show, where the processor was placed in the center tunnel.

In the official press release, Mercedes once again confirms that the upcoming Mercedes CLA is the first of four future entry-level models built on the new Electric First MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) platform. The other three models will be the CLA Shooting Brake, GLA/EQA, and GLB/EQB. The current Mercedes A-Class and B-Class models will have no successors.

Mercedes has also announced that it will show a camouflaged prototype of the future Mercedes G-Class Electric at CES.
