This car is just like the wine. The older the better. The strongest, the bravest and fastest of the off-road vehicles, the Mercedes G63 AMG challenged the wild in Argentina to prove all it can do.

Most VIPs have one to show off at movie premieres and music awards ceremonies. But this SUV was not build just to be a head-turner on the Hollywood hills. It has got the off-road DNA under those angular boxy lines and beyond those luxurious features of its cabin. The Hamburg-based German photographer, Markus Wendler, wanted us to keep that in mind. Therefore, he took the car to Argentina to dare the wild, crossing deep rivers with rocky bottoms and going up steep slopes which would scare other SUVs off.

Yet it seemed piece of cake for the storm-beaten Mercedes SUV. Rock climbing thrilled the tank-like giant, with a 5.5-liter V8 heart, pumping 544 HP. These figures make the G63 AMG dare-devil run from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

Markus Wendler remembered that some of the owners of the G-Class will never take it out in the off-road, so he made a photo shooting in the city scape, too, to prove the versatility of the G wagon.

Enough with the talking, let’s go into the Argentinian off-road! Brace yourself!
