The second generation Mercedes GLC starts at 57,631.30 euro. Three mild hybrid versions are available for the moment and can be ordered from July 13, 2022. The standard equipment is significantly improved.
The new Mercedes GLC is available to order at dealers and online. It can be ordered for the time being only with mild hybrid engines: GLC 200 4Matic with 204 HP, GLC 300 4Matic with 258 hp and GLC 220 d 4Matic with 197 HP. Prices start at 57,631.30 euro for the GLC 200 4Matic while the GLC 300 4Matic costs 68,240.55 euro and the GLC 220 d 4Matic 60,237.80 euro.
At first glance, the big price difference between the GLC 200 4Matic and the GLC 300 4Matic of more tnan 10,000 euros is surprising, but it should be noted that the GLC 300 4Matic comes standard with the AMG Line package which costs 4,748.10 euros for the other versions. Therefore, the price difference on similar equipment is just over 5,000 euros.
The Avantgarde Exterior Line is standard on all versions as is the classic steel spring suspension. Air suspension and integral steering can be ordered optionally.
On the occasion of the launch of the new generation Mercedes GLC, Mercedes has changed its policy of optional equipment and packages. Whereas before, the list of options was very long and customers spent a lot of time configuring the cars in detail, the new GLC comes standard with the Avantgarde Advanced package which includes a premium navigation system with hard disc and 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen display, virtual instrument cluster displays, electrically adjustable and heated front seats and electrically operated split-folding rear seat segments.
For those who want more, there’s also the option of a Progressive Line Advanced Plus package (1,886.15 euro) that includes Blind Spot Assist, Traffic Sign Assist as well as a memory pack for the front seats and ambient lighting. The assistance systems policy is a bit confusing. Even if you ordered the Progressive Line Advanced Plus package, you must also order the Assistance Plus package to enjoy the complete range of assistance systems because only the Assistance Plus package (2,891.70 euro) includes Active Distance Assist Distronic (can be ordered also separately for 476 euro), Active Traffic Jam Assist and Pre Safe.
Also on the options list is the Energizing Control package with multi-contour, ventilated seats (2,576.35 euro), Digital Light headlights (1606.50 euro) and Burmester 3D audio system (1,201.90 euro). If you plan to go more off-road, you must order the Off-road package which gives 20 mm more ground clearance, steel underguard protection at the front and Gemtex plastic undergurad protection on the side.
The three PHEV versions GLC 300 e 4Matic, GLC 400 e 4Matic and GLC 300 de 4Matic will be available from December 2022.
