Mercedes-Benz has released pricing details for the new CLA Shooting Brake. The compact model can be ordered right away, with the first cars expected to arrive at the dealerships in March.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake will be initially available with a choice of two diesel engines, four petrol engines and the all-wheel drive system 4MATIC.
In the petrol department, the CLA 180 is the entry-level model in the CLA Shooting Brake range, powered by a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter engine delivering 122 hp (90 kW) and 200 Nm at 1,250-4,000 rpm. For this version, Mercedes-Benz set a starting price of 29,810 euros, including VAT.
Above the CLA 180, Mercedes-Benz is offering the the CLA 200 packing 156 hp (115 kW) for a starting price of 32,725 euros, followed by the CLA 250, priced at 39,746 euros, the CLA 250 4MATIC for 41,948 euros and the performance version CLA 45 AMG 4MATIC rated at 57,269 euros.
Regarding the diesel choices, Mercedes-Benz is offering the CLA 200 CDI (136 hp, 300 Nm at 1.400-3.000 rpm) for a starting price of 34,540 euros, while the CLA 220 CDI (177 hp, 350 Nm at 1,400-3,400 rpm) is available with a starting price tag of 39,062 euros.
Of course, there’s the OrangeArt Edition which is sold by Mercedes-Benz as a limited special model, available in combination with all engines, from 36,795 euros (CLA 180). For that amount of money, clients get the specific orange trim, the AMG Line and Night packages, 18-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels plus bi-xenon headlamps featuring orange highlight rings.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the CLA Shooting Brake is also available with either of the two equipment lines Urban and AMG Line. Opt for the AMG Line and you will receive a dynamic AMG bodystyling, sports seats in ARTICO man-made leather / DINAMICA microfibre, a multifunction sports steering wheel and a lowered suspension.
The Urban equipment line comes with a diamond radiator grille with high-gloss black pins, a two-pipe exhaust system with chrome-plated tailpipe trim and sports seats with contrasting topstitching.
