Mercedes will unveil a wide range of new models and innovations at the Paris Motor Show, which will take place from October 12 to 18, 2026.
Mercedes will present an extensive range of new models at the Paris Motor Show, which will take place from October 12 to 18, 2026, including several world premieres: the new Mercedes GLA, the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 electric coupe, the facelifted Mercedes GLE, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupe, the new Mercedes VLE electric van and the facelifted Mercedes S-Class.
The Mercedes stand will also feature the new Mercedes C-Class Electric, the new Mercedes GLC Electric and the special A-Class Edition 140 series.
In 2026, Mercedes is celebrating 140 years since the invention of the automobile, dating back to Carl Benz’s Patent Motorwagen of 1886.
However, two models are missing from the list of premieres: the facelifted Mercedes C-Class and the facelifted Mercedes GLS.
As can be seen, Mercedes is placing an increasing emphasis on electric models, which will be the main highlights of its presence at the Paris Motor Show.
Following the disappearance of the Geneva Motor Show, traditionally held at the beginning of March, the Munich Motor Show, held in odd-numbered years, and the Paris Motor Show, held in even-numbered years, have remained the only major automotive exhibitions in Europe.
This year’s Paris Motor Show will feature the Renault Group with Renault, Alpine, Dacia and Renault Pro+, the Stellantis Group with Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Lancia, Opel, Peugeot and Leapmotor, the Volkswagen Group with Volkswagen, Audi, Cupra and Skoda, as well as Volvo. Japanese manufacturers Toyota and Honda will also be present, along with Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia.
Numerous Chinese manufacturers will also attend, including BYD, Denza, Changan, Chery, Geely, as well as Smart, the brand co-owned by Geely and Mercedes, Omoda & Jaecoo, Xpeng and Zeekr.
Unfortunately, there will also be quite a few notable absences, the most significant being BMW, which would have had numerous new models to showcase, including the BMW X5 and iX5, the i3, the combustion-engine BMW 3 Series and the facelifted 7 Series. Mazda, Nissan, Suzuki and Porsche will also be absent.
