Daimler gets the “Golden Dolphin” at Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards

Daimler has just been awarded a “Golden Dolphin” in Cannes, at the Corporate Media & TV Awards, for their video “Spirit, Passion & Performance”.

The 4-minute video transposes the values of the German company into sports, promoting team spirit and top performance, discipline and fair play.

The video shows world champions and employees of the Mercedes-Benz plants from all over the world, talking about why they are part of a strong team. The video was filmed in ten locations in four continents and produced by a German production house located in Berlin. It also gives a glimpse on Daimler’s future technologies, like autonomous driving and special safety performance.

The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards is thought to be one of the most important commercial film festivals in the world and the biggest of its kind in Europe. Oscar and Emmy award winners, experts from the fields of corporate marketing and film industry judge the videos submitted by companies.

The juries in Cannes were not the only one to be deeply impressed by the carmaker’s video. The “OttoCar 2015” gala also brought them two gold trophies in the categories Image Film and Internal Communication and Recruitment.

It is not the first time Daimler makes an impression in the city on the French Riviera. The car maker got gold in 2012 and silver last year.
