November is the best sales month in history with a total of 34,578 units sold compared to 34,376 vehicles reported in the same month, last year.
Basically, Sprinter volumes have increased by 26% to 2,532 for the month of November, combining with the 815 smart units to bring total November sales at Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) to a record of 37,925. Mercedes-Benz retails have increased 6% to 296,382 from 279,501 on a year-to-date basis. The 22,457 Sprinter units and 9,480 smart units, pushing MBUSA to a year-to-date grand total of 328,319 vehicles sold.
Stephen Cannon, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA said that “November was one for the history books at Mercedes-Benz. Beyond record sales, our rise to the top spot in J.D. Power’s Sales Satisfaction Index shows our efforts on the customer experience front are resonating with owners.”
The model lines that pushed the Mercedes-Benz sales over the month of November were the C-Class, the E-Class and the M-Class. Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the new generation for the 2015 model year, took the lead at 9,259, up 17.5% from 7,878 units sold in the same month last year. The M-Class, brand’s best selling SUV was the one to follow with a volume of 5,190 units, up to 19.9% , while the E-Class came in third place with 4,737 vehicles sold. In the premium segment, the flagship S-Class exceeded last year’s November sales by 50,1% at 2,863.
989 Mercedes AMG high-performance models were handed to clients only in November, an increase of 10.4% from 896 units sold the same month last year. Year-to-date AMG vehicles sold totaled 10,181, climbing 52.1% from the 6,693 units sold during the same period in 2013.
