Up to 400 HP and suspension settings also for off-road
Brabus Tuner offers a complete tuning program for GLA that includes additional power for diesel and petrol engines, including the top model GLA 45 AMG and sport suspensions or adapted for off-road.
Brabus developed high quality body plastic parts for standard trim, but also for the Urban and Style packages. On the upcoming list, there are also the aerodynamics elements for the AMG Line.
In the front, the new spoiler is continued with a stylized shield and two side fenders that confers a more distinctive look. At the rear, the new spoiler, very similar in design to the front one, simulates the presence of a shield and elegantly integrates the two pairs of exhaust pipes made from stainless steel. The stainless steel exhaust pipes are available almost for every petrol and diesel engine. For GLA 250, there is also an exhaust active system with a by-pass valve, which allows the adjustment of engine sound from discrete to sporty. Moreover, Brabus offers an aileron mounted on the roof with Brabus logo inscribed on it.
Furthermore, wheels from 18 to 21 inches are available. The 21 inches 9Jx21 wheels are forged and two types are on sale, the Monoblock F or R. The high performance tyres for these wheels are provided by Continental, Pirelli and Yokohama in sizes of 255/30 R21. In order to easily reach the vehicle during the nighttime, Brabus engineers have developed a LED system which is enabled from the key’s remote control or when the door handle is pulled.
For GLA, Brabus provides not only a sport suspension, lowered by 25 mm, but also a raised one adjusted with 30 mm, suited for those who want to use the GLA in off-road. Already known as the tuner who offers the most comprehensive motorization program for Mercedes models, Brabus also provides performance power kits for GLA.
2.1 liter, 170 HP diesel engine from GLA 220 CDI can be enhanced with ECO PowerXtra D3 kit which delivers 210 HP (with an additional 40 HP) and a torque of 410 Nm (an additional 10 Nm). Thus, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8 seconds, while 220 km/h represents the maximum speed. A PowerXtra kit is available for four-cylinder, petrol engines. PowerXtra CGI B45 is the top grade which includes the most powerful 4-cylinder turbo engine from the world, that can deliver 400 HP and 500 Nm. The fastest GLA accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and, with the additional Brabus V/max package, it reaches 270km/h.
On the interior, Brabus offers matt aluminum pedal box, shifting pedals from aluminium mounted on the steering wheel in order to shift gears and various leather and Alcantara upholsteries.
