While we’re still waiting for a new C-Class Coupe – be it AMG or any other way – Vorsteiner took the current C 63 AMG and made it a little more interesting.

Not that it lacked appeal to begin with – the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe is a terrific machine with plenty of power to go with those looks. 457 hp, to be more precise, flanked by a maximum torque of 600 Nm, enough for a supercar worthy 0-100 km/h sprint of 4.4 seconds and a top speed that most definitely required an electronic limiter.

If you were feeling lucky, you could have opted for the AMG Performance package which boosted power all the way to 487 hp and cut 0.1 seconds off that 0-100 km/h sprint time.

The C 63 AMG Coupe never lacked in visual appeal either. It was one of the most aggressive looking coupes out there, especially when painted in black. What am I talking about, I bet it would still look quite frightening even in pink…

But this light makeover by Vorsteiner has nothing to do with Hello Kitty or the sorts, so the color stays. Actually, it’s a matte black finish which makes the C 63 AMG look like it’s absorbing light like some sort of black hole from hell.

The actual interventions on the car are minimal, but with great effect. The car features Vorsteiner’s PrePreg Carbon Fiber W204 front spoiler and rear diffuser, plus a set of new wheels. The rims are called Carbon Graphite V-FF 103 and measure 19 inches in diameter, the two at the rear being slightly wider than those at the front.

This discreet intervention shows that sometimes you only need to add a few touches to make a great looking car look even better. Now, it’s up to Mercedes-Benz to show us that they too can take the current C-Class model and turn it into a beautiful coupe.
