3,355 kilometers. Seven countries. Seven days. And countless moments of pure joy. Automotive photographer GFWilliams embarked on a European adventure onboard a C-Class Coupé. The route took him from Porto to Stuttgart in a week.
The designo hyacinth red metallic paintwork shines in the spring sun and perfectly matches the sporty elegant silhouette of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class 300 Coupé. The 245 HP 4-cylinder turbocharged engine comes to life, willing to start the roadtrip. First stop: Porto’s city center.
Sporty genes mixed with all comfort features anyone would dream of make the ride relaxed and exciting. The C-Class Coupé feels at home down the winding roads of Portugal, as the driver switches the DYNAMIC SELECT programme from the “Comfort” to the “Sport Plus” mode. The hunt begins, as the coupe tackles the corners with the agility of a racing car.
3,000 kilometers left to go and Ávila, in Spain, comes next. Driving over a reservoir damn intensifies the feeling of the mountains reflected in the smooth water surface. A dream-like scenery that gives the opportunity of a new photo session with today’s supermodel: the C-Class Coupé.
The historical town located just a 90-minute drive from Madrid welcomes the travelers with its walls bathed in the sunset light and narrow streets riddle-like network all built during the Middle Ages.
The LED Intelligent Light System is turned on and off they go to Segovia. They call it a night after a couple of photos in front of the gigantic 28-meter high aqueduct built during the Roman times and used until the 1970s, before driving off to Andorra first thing in the morning.
Bad weather determines a change of plans, so Barcelona shall come next. A town looking like a work of art laid by the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, both fascinating and chaotic. A perfect place to test the 13 speakers of the Burmester® surround-sound system, as the rhythm of the city permits loud sound without getting extra attention. Off to the northern Italy and Switzerland on their way to Stuttgart. A few hours later, they park the cherry red Coupé in front of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. And so the roardtrip of 3,355 kilometers ends after 7 days on the road with countless moments of pure joy.
