From the end of 2015, Mercedes V-Class is the first Mercedes MPV available with the AMG Line equipment package.
The study Concept V-ision e’ presented at Geneva Motorshow in March 2015 provided an outlook on the AMG Line and the new comfort features. It is the first time when a Mercedes MPV is available with an AMG Line.
The AMG Line for Mercedes V-Class include newly styled front aprons with prominent air inlets and chrome trim, the diffusor look rear apron, distinctive side sills panels, 19-inch AMG light alloy wheels, an aditional spoiler lip plus 17 inch braking system, brake callipers with Mercedes-Benz lettering and a more firm sport suspension lowered by 15 mm.
At the same time, the AMG Line can be ordered with the optional Agility Control suspension with variable damping.
The interior AMG features include air vents in silver chrome, a sports pedal cluster in brushed aluminium, carbon fibre look trim and a black headlining.
At the same time, the high comfort level in the Mercedes V-Class can be enhanced with new options like the panoramic roof – the largest in the mid-size van segment with 1.9 x 1.12 metre, the large central console with an integral cooler compartment and LED illuminated thermo cupholders, two iPad holders in the rear and rear seat air conditioning.
Rear seat air conditioning is available from September while the panoramic roof, large central console and iPad holders can be ordered from the end of the year.
The new V-Class has become a true success story. In the first six months of 2015, sales increased by 36% to 15,200 units compared with 11,200 vehcicles in the same period of 2014. Almost half of the buyers opt for the high quality Avantgarde Line.
