The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is now ready to race. It currently only happens in Forza Horizon 5. The real thing though still seems far away.

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios showcased the all-new Forza Horizon 5. The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is the star of the video game. The company accounts the virtual variant of the future hypercar with Formula 1 tech with a level of detail that matches its performance.

In a hyper-real world set of Mexico, players get the chance to drive the ultimate top model from Affalterbach even before it actually hits the road. The virtual acceleration and the braking and the steering should  are correspondent to the features of the future street-legal racer. So is the active aerodynamic, the creators of the virtual car claim.

Forza Horizon 5

The model sports an exclusive body livery, highlighting the special personality of the car. Players can, of course, configure the model using different equipment and body colors, according to their preferences.

Virtual drivers will have the possibility to choose one of the two driving programs available, Track and Road. They will benefit from over 1,000 horsepower, provided by the turbo hybrid system, that takes the car to a digital top speed of over 350 km/h.

Forza Horizon 5

The Mercedes-AMG ONE will be extremely exclusive. Only 275 units will hit the road. Each comes with a price tag of 2.75 million euros. First customers should get their brand new ONE starting this fall. The model will be available globally in Forza Horizon starting November 9 for current consoles of the Xbox family, including Windows PC.

Another Mercedes-AMG high-performance model starring in the game was the Mercedes-AMG GT R. It showed up snow drifting in Forza Horizon 3, back in 2017.
