Less is more. The new SUV Coupe Mercedes-Benz GLE 350d 4Matic costs 66,699.50 euros, by 6,664.50 euros more than the ML 350 BlueTec 4Matic. Prices are for the German market, VAT included. Compared with the ML-Class, GLE Coupe offers an enhanced standard equipment and an adaptive drive train, a premiere for a Mercedes SUV.
The comprehensive standard equipment of the GLE Coupe includes sports seats in Artico leather, 20-inch wheels, Easy-pack tailgate electric opening and a reversing camera with dynamic guide lines. Active safety package includes Crosswind Assist, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, ESP Dynamic Cornering Assist and BAS Plus.
The clients could choose from a long list of extras like Driving Assistance Package Plus, which includes the Distronic Plus with Steering Assist and the Stop&Go Pilot, the Pre safe brake with pedestrian detection, Active Blind Spot Assist Active lane Keeping Assist or parking package.
The LED Intelligent Light System – standard for all models – also stands for a plus, if we compare this with the ML standard equipment. Night Vision System and Comand multimedia system with navigation, touchpad and an 8-inch display are also optional.
The GLE 450 AMG 4Matic powered by the new V6 bi-turbo with 367 HP comes standard with AMG bodystyling, a rear spoiler lip and 21-inch AMG light-alloy wheels.
