Mercedes-AMG A35 is set to see the light of day in the near future. Until that moment comes, Mercedes-AMG is releasing the first video teaser of the performance compact sedan.
The German premium performance sedan will be powered by the same engine as the hatchback: a 2.0-liter turbo engine will supply 306 horsepower and 400 Newton meters. The power unit is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and to the 4-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC system.
It is not only extra output that it gets, but also visual enhancement to match. Aggressive styling, wider air intakes for a better air flow, an AMG radiator grille and a rear air diffuser and tail wing.
New A-Class Sedan is the newborn of the compact family
On the inside, the Mercedes-AMG A 35 Sedan is getting the sports seats, an AMG multifunctional steering wheel with a flattened bottom section and a screen displaying the driving modes (Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual).
The top variant of the current A-Class Sedan line up, introduced last fall at the Paris Motor Show, comes with 224 horsepower, in the shape of the A250 4MATIC.
The A 35 hatchback is available with a starting price of 47,528.60 Euros, so it is expected that the sedan variant will be slightly more costly.
