The new Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC is displayed in Paris as the new entry-level model of the high-performance AMG family. Powered by the company’s new 2.0-liter engine, the hot hatch has been simultaneously developed with its more potent sibling, the A 45. Bold and aggressive and everything in- between, the all-new Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC brings the motorsport expertise of the company onto the road in a tamed, but anything-but-boring manner. There are 306 horsepower and 400 Newton meters of torque available for those who press the throttle pedal of the vehicle. They also get full throttle from a standstill, thanks to the new standardly-fit RACE-START function.
Five driving programs (“Slippery”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport+” and “Individual”) are onboard the car, together with an AMG TRACK PACE function, to give that extra competition feeling behind the steering wheel.
Sales of the new hot hatch start soon, while the first customers will receive their brand-new hot hatch in January 2019.
