Mercedes-Benz reinvents the class of family cars, starting a brand-new class. It is the T-Class with its all-electric variant, the EQT.
Mercedes will reveal the new EQT next month in a digital world premiere, with skateboard legend Tony Hawk. It is, for the moment, just a concept. The series production model will be the forerunner to the new T-Class range in the small-van segment.
Legendary skateboarder Tony Haw will star in a short video that will go online on several social media channels simultaneously.
Furthermore, Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of Daimler Group, together with Marcus Breitschwerdt, Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans, will present the most important information on the Concept EQT.
Concept EQT brings luxury in the small-van segment
The concept thus previews the arrival of the future T-Class, that will also provide combustion engine variants. Mercedes-Benz T-Class will follow in the footstep of the V-Class. The values and its practical nature will be transfer automatically into the compact format. Mercedes accounts the future electric van with space and a modular interior, but also with an attractive design. It will, of course, benefit from the presence of the comfort, connectivity and safety feature that the premium car maker has been developing.
In the terms of looks, the Concept EQ will feature a new holistic design that Mercedes want to revolutionize the small van segment with.
We will find out more about the concept on the 10th of May. The EQT will join the ever-growing EQ zero-emission family. The EQC, EQA, EQS luxury saloon and the newly introduced EQB are already part of the premium electric range.
