Blond beauty Bettina Fetzer (38) is taking over the Mercedes-Benz Marketing Division starting 1st of November 2018. The move comes following her other positions within Daimler AG.
Bettina Fetzer is giving up her position in the global products and brands PR department to be the new Marketing chief. “I am delighted to have Bettina Fetzer, a proven communication expert and outstanding executive as Head of Mercedes-Benz Marketing. Under her leadership, we will further develop the successful brand work of recent years, as well as the digitization of our customer contacts”, is the plan set out by Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing.
The new head of the Mercedes-Benz Marketing division will take over internal and external marketing communication of the brand, thus being responsible with the worldwide conception, implementation and management of all communications activities and advertising strategies. Her work will integrate various model series, but also general topics of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Bettina Fetzer has been in the company since 2004. She has been, in turns, a spokesperson for smart and for Mercedes-Benz, head of the Mercedes-Benz business communication and head of global communication for Mercedes-Benz Cars. She actively supported the establishment of the new “Leadership 2020” corporate culture. She was also a frontrunner of the digitization, involving new influencers and platforms, putting Mercedes-Benz communication department one step ahead of its competitors.
