Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing are conquering land and water together. The bond between the high-performance cars and high-performance boats is now stronger than ever, as the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE serves as inspiration for a power boat.
“It will be Formula 1 feeling on water”, Mercedes-AMG promises on its official Facebook page. The Cigarette Racing boat is se to hit a triple-digit speed and will carry the name of Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE. The water rocket will be displayed at the Miami Boat Show this month, together with its muse, the AMG hypercar, powered by a mental powertrain, focused on a 1.6-liter V6 with over 1,000 horsepower. Yet, the boat might make its way onto water with a set of V8s, of 1,300 horsepower each.
A teaser photo is all AMG has been disclosing, as the sketch shows the sleek design of both land and water vehicles.
The Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE is not the first offspring of the collaboration, as the Mercedes-AMG GT R and the AMG GT S have recently inspired the water racing company.
The speed boat will be revealed on February, the 15th, at the Miami Boat Show.
