After the Mercedes EQS, a second electric model from Mercedes-EQ will be available in the US market. It is the Mercedes EQB whose prices start from under 55,000 USD.
Currently, only one electric model from Mercedes is available on the US market. The Mercedes EQS luxury limousine starts at $102,310 for the EQS 450+ version with one engine while the top of the line Mercedes EQS 580 4Matic starts at $125,310.
This summer, Mercedes will launch a second electric model in the US market. It is the Mercedes EQB compact SUV which in the US will only be offered with two-motors and electric all-wheel drive. The base version with one motor powered the front wheels Mercedes EQB 250 will not be available in the US. Here, customers will be able to choose between the Mercedes EQB 300 4Matic with 225 HP and the Mercedes EQB 350 4Matic with 288 HP, both with two motors and electric all wheel drive. No official informations were given yet regarding the EPA range.
In addition to the base version, both engines will be available with Exlusive and Pinnacle equipment.

Exclusive trim comes with Keyless-Go access system, inductive charging for mobile phone and premium audio system. Pinnacle additionally brings Burmester audio system, panoramic roof and 360 degree camera. The 7-seat option, which is a high demand option on the US market, will be available for both engines and all trim levels.
The Mercedes EQB will be the only compact SUV sold in the US as the EQA will not be offered. In contrast, the Mercedes EQE electric limousine will also debut in the US this summer and the Mercedes EQS luxury SUV will arrive by the end of the year.
