The Mercedes GLC Electric makes its U.S. debut at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, while the Mercedes CLA receives new technologies.
Mercedes will premiere in the U.S. the new Mercedes GLC Electric, which will feature music streaming through native integrations and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple CarPlay. Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in CarPlay is already available in the new Mercedes CLA and GLB. In addition, the new GLC also offers native audiobook streaming in Dolby Atmos and enhanced Apple CarPlay functionality.
Optionally, the new Mercedes GLC Electric can be configured with the 39.1-inch Hyperscreen display that spans the entire width of the dashboard.
As standard, the Mercedes GLC Electric comes with two displays: a 10.3-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch screen for the multimedia system, and a digitally animated trim panel instead of a passenger display — all grouped under a single glass surface.
In the second version, called Superscreen, there is also a 14-inch passenger display, but the three displays are separate, grouped under the same glass panel.
At launch, the new Mercedes GLC will be available in the GLC 400 4MATIC version with two motors producing 483 HP and a driving range of up to 713 km. It will debut on the U.S. market in the second half of 2026.
New technologies in the Mercedes CLA
The new Mercedes CLA will feature video streaming with DTS AutoStage Video powered by TiVo, while RIDEVU by Sony Pictures Entertainment brings IMAX Enhanced content and DTS:X sound, expanding entertainment options and offering users greater choice and flexibility.
In addition, in cooperation with NVIDIA, Mercedes has developed the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. In the top version, MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO, the vehicle can navigate city streets — from the parking lot to the destination — with advanced SAE Level 2 assistance. This system allows steering adjustments at any time without deactivating the system.
