Not much is left until the reveal of the new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. Before that though, Mercedes is making the fans’ wait a bit sweeter, releasing a teaser photo.

The image, posted on Twitter by the German premium company, displays an LED rear light of the SUV coupe. The description that accompanies the image promises “more luxury, more coupe”, a hint to new premium materials inside the cabin, enhancing comfort, and a more sloping roof, emphasizing its coupe-like silhouette, as the spy photos have previously shown.

The GLE Coupe is one of company’s names on the list of debuts scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. But the online reveal is scheduled for the end of this month. Therefore, fans will get to see the 2020 model on August, 28th.

The GLE coupe will receive the technical solutions of its standard sibling, together with its tech and engines. This means that the new model will carry over the dual-screen display with a 12.3-inch digital instrument and a 12.3-inch infotainment display, for the control of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system. The MBUX can also be controlled via the touchpad in the center control and via natural language voice control.

The engine range will include those of the standard variant, presented a year ago, with a plug-in hybrid and an AMG model arriving later in the range.
