The Mercedes-AMG A 35 and CLA 35 Edition 55 come to mark the 55 years of AMG anniversary. The new versions arrive months after the carmaker revealed the G-Class 55 Edition.

Customers can order them starting now up until November. They get the AMG Aerodynamics Package with a front apron with an enlarged front splitter and additional flics. There is an AMG rear wing and there are side spoiler lips on the optical outlets in the rear spoiler. The Blade diffuser in high-gloss black gets plenty of attention as well.

Mercedes-AMG specifically developed these parts in the wind tunnel to bring the cars improved aerodynamics at high speeds.

Customers will also get the AMG Night Package and Night Package II, both enhancing performance and bringing the Mercedes-AMG A35 and CLA 35 Edition 55 the mean looks future owners are looking for in a sports compact car.

The models can tick the boxes for the exclusive paintworks such cosmos black metallic or digital white metallic. 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light alloys with matt titanium grey paint finish are also part of the plan. Official photos also show an AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome, sporting the AMG lettering.

The contrasting red-black color-combo defines the cabin. The future driver of the Edition 55 models will be sitting in AMG Performance seats in two-tone classic red/black leather. They will enjoy the sensation provided by the steering wheel in Dinamica microfiber with a 12 o’clock marking at the top. The Edition 55 lettering woven in red shows up just about everywhere onboard.
