Four new models expand Mercedes the line-up – the new C-Class Coupe and the new S-Class Cabrio, both presented also in AMG guise. On top, the Concept Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile, known as Concept IAA debut in Frankfurt. And smart brand came with the new fortwo cabrio.
Mercedes Concept IAA
The Concept IAA shows how far advanced Mercedes already in the digitalization of automotive development and production.
“The Concept IAA shows that the real and virtual world are merging more and morte at Mercedes-Benz. Never before have we developed a vehicle concept as quickly as our Concept IAA”, declared Dieter Zetsche, Daimler CEO.
The Concept IAA embodies two cars in one – a four door coupe with a generous interior like in a E-Class or CLS and an aerodynamic world record breaker with a Cx of only 0.19.

Mercedes C-Class Coupe
The sportiest variant of the C-Class benefits of the C-Class lightweight platform and features the adaptive drive train with optionally available air suspension – unique in this class.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe
The sportiest C-Class ever features the new 4.0 litre V8 biturbo with 476 HP or 510 HP developed entirely in Affalterbach as were the Ride Control suspension, the Dynamic Select drive programmes, the rear axle differential lock and the dynamic engine mounts.

Mercedes S-Class Cabrio
The new Mercedes S-Class Cabrio is the sixth and the last variant of the S-Class range after S-Class long and short wheelbase saloon, Maybach, S-Coupe and Pullman.
Mercedes S-Class was the best selling luxury saloon in 2014 with more than 100,000 units.
“The new S-Class Cabrio may not become our bestselling car but I am certain it will be one of the most coveted”, Dieter Zetsche said.

Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabrio
This superlative dream car is powered by the AMG 5.5 litre V8 biturbo engine with 585 HP and maximum torque of 900 Nm delivered to the road by the standard fit AMG 4Matic performance all-wheel drive.

smart cabrio
Mercedes said that smart cabrio is the only “true” cabriolet in its class. “I am certain that our new smart cabriolet will be a huge hit with all smart fans. It is the most inexpensive cabriolet in the world and at the same time the most exclusive way to drive a smart”, Annette Winkler, Head of smart declared.
