The new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 4Matic was doped by Brabus with a sensational turbocharged V8 6.0 litres with 850 HP and 1,450 Nm. Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe reaches 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds.
The new Bentley Bentayga has already a fierce rival. The new Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe with the turbocharged V8 6.0 litres is a rocket compared with the new V12 6.0 litres 600 HP Bentley Bentayga.
With a displacement of 6 litres, Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe has a rated output of 850 HP at 5,400 rpm and a peak torque of 1,450 Nm between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. The super SUV weighting more than 2,350 kg launches itself from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h.
The 6 litres V8 turbocharged engine is derivated from the AMG V8 engine. Brabus bore out the cylindres to 99 mm and increase displacement from 5,461 cmc to 5,912 cmc. The two production turbos from AMG engine were replaced with special turbochargers with larger compressor units and modified exhaust manifolds.
The front spoiler lip, which attaches to the lower section of the bumper, minimizes lift on the front axle at high speeds for further optimized handling stability. The air intakes at the sides of the front bumper feature tailor-made air deflectors to give the vehicle an even sportier profile and direct the air to the air intakes in the side of the vehicle, which are equipped with integrated LED side markers.
For the rear bumper, Brabus developed carbon trim for the side air outlets and a new diffuser insert, which provides the perfect backdrop for the two visual identifying features of the Brabus high-performance exhaust system. The ceramics-coated design tailpipes marked with the Brabus logo fill out the cutouts to the left and right of the diffuser fully. The Brabus roof spoiler rounds off the aerodynamic-enhancement concept for the coupe.
21, 22 and 23 inch alloy wheels in different designs are available for the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe. The most exclusive option is the Brabus Monoblock “Platinum Edition” high-tech king-sized 11Jx23 forged wheel. Brabus technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply the matching high-performance tires for the SUV.
Brabus has also modified the Airmatic suspension settings and lowers the ride height by about 35 mm. This gives the all-wheel-drive car not only a more exciting appearance, but also enhances driving dynamics further by lowering the center of gravity.
The interior features the finest Brabus Mastik leather and Alcantara in any desired color which are used for the dashboards, seats, door panels and headliner. The Brabus interior carbon and wood trim sets also offer a maximum variety of colors and surface finishes.
The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe can be ordered as a complete car or Brabus can convert a GLE 63 completely or in stages. Despite the absolute power, the fuel consumption is still decent: 15.8 l/100 km urban, 9.7 l/100 km highway and 11.9 l/100 km combined with 278 g/km CO2 emissions.
